This site has mostly been a record of health, beauty and everyday routines kept by a man now in his fifties. In 2025 it gained a new regular: Koguma.
Who is Koguma?
Koguma is a Maltese × toy poodle mix, born on 9 May 2025, who came home on 30 July the same year. Energetic, friendly with people, and very much at home around Sapporo — Tanukikoji and the nearby streets are part of the daily walk.
Why a dog, now
A long-standing idea here is that the second half of life deserves as much care as the first. A dog forces a steadier rhythm: fixed walk times, earlier mornings, more time outdoors through a Sapporo winter. That turned out to be a better anchor for daily habits than any schedule written on paper.
